The ex-Oasis star, who rejected Simon Cowell's invite to join the panel, said: "I don't mind The X Factor. I was watching it on Saturday actually, and I managed to pick everybody they put through." He told Real Radio Yorkshire how Anais "went into a rage" after he first spurned Cowell's offer.
Noel, 44, added: "So we're watching it and I was saying 'that fat idiot — he's rubbish, get him off'.
"She gave me a withering look and said 'well, you could have told him that yourself, couldn't you?' And I was like, 'oh... get to bed'."
